Songs For The Lonely

Alright here are some I've been enjoying:

This first song I've had forever but its still excellent

Jeffrey Lewis & Laura Marling - Brain Damage

Next we have some of that Olde English Spelling Bee the blogs love so much. At first I pretty much just hated his vocals and this song is the one I could handle the most but it kinda grew on me. Its really sincere, I believe.

Autre Ne Veut - Drama Cum Drama

Elvis Costello is incredible and I don't think that my generation can quite appreciate him

Elvis Costello and the Attractions - Radio Radio

Dancehall/Jamaican madness. I mean mad decent.

South Rakkas Crew - So It Go

This comes from the new Brodinski Best of Everything with contracted remixes of pop tunes. I recommend the entire flock of remixes for the most part but this one still keeps alot of the pop appeal without alienating everyone by going into nutty technoness

Young Money - Bedrock (Djedjotronic Remix)

These guys are to me the best of the slowcore movement from the 90s. Excellent album, which I might post later

Carissa's Wierd - Low Budget Slow Motion Soundtrack Song for the Leaving Scene

How about a Mogwai song with vocals? To commemorate the new album (which i have not heard yet) I bring you a cut from my favorite of their albums: Mr Beast.

Mogwai - Travel Is Dangerous

Alt-country a la Band of Horses and a little Wilco.

Tired Poney- Get On The Road

Former Blood Brothers and hardcore madness with an upgraded pop sensibility that the Blood Brothers once flirted with and left us begging for more. Well maybe that was just me. This is actually probably more indie rock than hardcore but is that really a bad thing?

Jaguar Love - Up All Night

Crossfade Bacon classic

Emynd & Bo Bliz - Flip It Snap It
