Here I intend to post music I have been enjoying.
I'll start with a group called Malachai. I bought the album "The Ugly Side of Love" a couple months ago for real cheap hoping to pick up some weird psychedelic mess and I wasn't entirely disappointed. Some of the music is quite poppy (definitely not a bad thing) and almost radio-esque jams while others are more on the experimental side of things (although not very far). Information about the group is actually a bit elusive which makes me what to know more, but they are from Bristol and are often compared to other Britol-based trip-hop such as Portishead. In my opinion, this holds little comparison to Portishead besides being sample based, and I'm not sure alot of it is. I know for a fact that this song it (via the liner notes). I think this is the "single" from the album and rightfully so.
